ORDER OF EVENTS*
These are approximate times that each event will start. Every effort is made to run the meet smoothly and on schedule. If the meet runs ahead of schedule, it will be allowed to continue to run ahead of schedule, up to one hour ahead of the times stated in the event schedule shown below. Participants should be at the track, ready to participate, a minimum of one hour prior to the scheduled start of their event. Participants who miss the start of their event will be scratched from the event.
12:15 PM Volunteers/Officials Meeting at finish line area. PLEASE BE PROMPT
12:30 PM Coaches and Athletic Director Meeting at finish line.
Pick up meet packets/wristbands/Q&A time.
12:45 PM Player Prayer and National Anthem
1:00 PM Field Events Open
1:00 PM 50 Meter Dash
1:30 PM 100 Meter Dash
2:30 PM 1600 Meter Run
3:00 PM 4 x 50 Meter Relay
3:30 PM 4 x 100 Meter Relay
4:00 PM 200 Meter Dash
4:00 PM All Field Events Close at 4:00 PM. No exceptions.
4:30 PM 400 Meter Run
5:00 PM Mixed Relay
5:30 PM 800 Meter Run
Athletes are required to check in with the Clerk of the Track prior to start of their event. The Clerk / Check-In area will be behind the shot put area next to the track entrance. A staging area for athletes will be roped off and athletes will be escorted to their respective starting lines for all running events. Field event participants check in at their respective field event.
NO JEWELRY allowed on the athletes at any time.
ATHLETES MUST WEAR SCHOOL SHIRT in competition.
Running Events are run in the following order*:
K grade girls
K grade boys
1st Grade girls
1st Grade boys
2nd Grade girls
2nd Grade boys
3rd Grade girls
3rd Grade boys
4th Grade girls
4th Grade boys
5th Grade girls
5th Grade boys
Field Events will be in flights.
All Field Events will close at 4:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS)
If you are in line and waiting at that time you will be allowed to throw or jump.
PETS, ALCOHOL AND ANY FORM OF TOBACOO PRODUCT (INCLUDING E-CIGS) PROHIBTED ON THE CAMPUS OF BISHOP MOORE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
*In the interest of time some heats may run in combined grade groups, but will be scored separately.
