Registration 
Register at stampede15.milesplit.com. The registration deadline is 11:59pm Monday, September 21st. You must enter every athlete including junior varsity runners. On race day you will send up to 10 runners from any of the runners you registered to the varsity race and the rest will run in the junior varsity race. You don’t need to predetermine who is running which race. 

Entry Fees
Varsity Races: $75 for a single Varsity Boys or Girls team, $150 for both. If you do not have a full varsity girls or boys team, the cost per individual Varsity Runner is $15. Make checks payable to West Florida High School and mail them to Jeffrey Oliver, West Florida High School, 2400 Longleaf Dr., Pensacola, FL, 32526. Payments can be made the day of the race. 
J.V. Races: Free and unlimited for both boys and girls teams as long as each team has a paid varsity team running. Otherwise it is $75 per gender to enter an unlimited number of runners or $15 a runner. 

Awards
We have had the best awards around and this year we are going to try to make them even better. I can say without a doubt that the awards at this race will be the highest quality awards you have seen anywhere! We will give out trophies or plaques to the top three varsity teams and the first place Junior Varsity team, and medals to the top 40 Varsity finishers and top 10 Junior Varsity finishers. 

Admission 
$5 per vehicle. Seven passenger team vans and buses transporting athletes will not have to pay for parking but all other vehicle types will be charged regardless of passengers, no exceptions.

Friday Night Team Dinner Social 
$10 Team Dinner Social (Cash Only, Must RSVP) – You don’t want to miss this event! The Stampede Dinner Social will run from 5:30pm to 8:00pm and includes dinner, Go-Karts and Laser Tag! In addition, at 8:20pm, our Celebrity Guest Star will speak about their experiences before and after becoming a professional runner and will be available for questions and autographs. The event will be held at Sam’s Fun City, located at 6709 Pensacola Blvd., Pensacola Fl, 32505. The dinner will be a Pasta Buffet including salad, desserts and drinks for just $10 a person. For an additional $10 guests will also have the opportunity to pick up a pass for either Unlimited Go-karts OR a pass for Unlimited Laser Tag. RSVP needs to be received by 8pm on Friday 9/18. Jordan McNamara Celebrity Guest Star: We are pleased to announce that Olympic hopeful Jordan McNamara will be our celebrity guest for the 2015 Gulf Coast Cross Country Stampede. McNamara recently won the 2014 Nike Festival of Miles, clocking 3:54.27, to set a meet and State record in St. Louis. His breakthrough race came in 2013 during his European racing season, where he set personal records in the Mile (3:52.42) and metric Mile (3:34.00). At Oregon, he was an NCAA All-American at 5000 meters in 2010. McNamara, who loves speaking to high school athletes, plans to cover both his early experiences as a runner and his now professional experiences, setbacks he has had and how he has manage to overcome them, and will answer as many questions as possible from the audience. He will be speaking at our team dinner social Friday night (Must RSVP to attend) and will be mingling with runners and signing autographs on Saturday.

Running Wild Retail Area: Running Wild, our local running apparel store, will have a tent set up at the meet. They specialize in fitting every person to the proper shoe and apparel. They can analyze your unique biomechanics to determine your degree of pronation and from there they can narrow the shoe selection to a stability, motion-control, or cushioned shoe. They will also be selling the latest in racing flats and spikes. And don’t forget you can get your new gear personalized by the graffiti artist. We will also be doing face painting this year!

Spike Customization Zone: Buy some new spikes or shoes from the Running Wile Retail Area and customize them with a wide selection of colored spikes and laces, FREE!

DJ Jammin Joe: DJ Jammin Joe will be on site providing 2000 watts of digital power for awesome sound that will be sure to entertain and motivate both spectators and athletes. At 10:30, right after the start of the last race we will hold a dance competition. Last year we saw some crazy moves so we are very excited to see what the kids have in store for us this year. We even have a special awards for our top dancers!

Stampede Cooling Station: This year we will have a cooling station setup, a great way to cool down after a hot race or after cheering on your team.

Shaved Ice, Snacks and Drinks: Shaved ice was a huge hit last year and of course we will have a variety of snacks and refreshments. 

Go-Karts and Laser Tag: For $10 you can get either an unlimited Go-Kart or unlimited Laser Tag deal from 6-9pm Friday night at Sam’s Fun City located at 6709 Pensacola Blvd., 32505.
