Sunday, March 1st Check in begins at 7 a.m. Race starts at 8 a.m. “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not.” – Dr. Seuss   Pi Beta Phi Fraternity For Women has been a proud partner of First Book, a children’s literacy organization, since 2007.  First Book has only been around for 22 years, but in a third of those years Pi Phis across the nation have donated over 2 million children’s books.  The goal of first book is to eliminate illiteracy in young ages and our sorority is reaching out to you to help us help them. Pi Beta Phi’s very own reading initiative is Read>Lead>Achieve, our goal with this initiative is to impact a million lives by 2017, marking our 150th birthday. This year, the Florida Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi will be hosting our second annual 5K Color Run for the entire UCF community.  All proceeds will go towards the Pi Beta Phi Literacy Fund, supporting the Read>Lead>Achieve initiative and our partner First Book.  Color Me Literacy will be hosted on the UCF campus starting and ending at the Pi Beta Phi Sorority house (4304 Greek Park Drive Orlando, Fl. 32816).  In this packet, you will see a full description, schedule, and point breakdown of The Pi Phi Color run.
