A Dash for Cover is an annual event held in memory of Captain Joe Billek who was a member of Tampa Fire Rescue.  Captain Billek passed away at the very young age of 51 after a two year fight with melanoma.  Through the Captain Billek Foundation, all proceeds from A Dash for Cover support melanoma education, awareness and research.

The certified 5k and 1 mile family fun run will be through the beautiful Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida.
