Scoring:

1. Teams may enter 8 runners in the Varsity races.

3. Timing and scoring will be done with chips.

3. race numbers are for BOTH Varsity and JV races.

4. Make sure chips are properly secured before going to the line.

5. Return timing chips after all your schools races.

6. Ribbons for the Varsity and JV races can be picked up when you return the chips.

    Only coaches can pick up ribbons.

7. ONLY Junior Varsity runners are to be in the JV race.

 

Rules and restrictions

1. All FHSAA and National Federation rules are enforced.

2. Decisions of the meet referee and the jury of appeals are final.

3. All runners must wear shoes.

 

Parking

1. No buses are allowed inside of EFSC. No dropping off allowed.

2. All team vans and cars carrying teams are to go to the Chain of lakes parking.

   The New entrance to the Chain of Lakes, 1/2 mile north of BCC on the right at the

    traffic light.

3. Schools buses are to take the team to the Chain of Lakes parking.

4. The EFSC south parking lot is for spectators only. There will be a 5.00 per car charge.

5. No parking in the north parking lot or behind the EFSC student Union.

 

All runners, Coaches and spectators are to stay out of:

a. the finish line area.

b. the scoring tent

c. roped off areas on the course

d. the course path ways.

e. Doorways to Campus buildings.

f. Areas of the gym building, other than the locker room/rest rooms.

g. NO TEAM CAMPS INSIDE OF BUILDINGS or door ways or on the

EFSC campus.

 

Medical

1. We have at the finish line area a Medical Doctor, Sport Chiropractor, physical therapist and the Titusville EMTs.

2. Allow them to handle all injuries and physical problems during or at the finish of the race.

3. If an emergency situation requires a 911 call, the Doctors on site will make the call.

 

Rest rooms:

1. All rest rooms are located in the Start and finish area, back of the Gym building by the South Parking lot and by the Chain of Lakes soccer fields. .

2. Coaches, spectators and runners are not allowed in the gym, other than the restrooms.

 

T Shirt sales :

1. Invitational T-shirts will be for sale during the meet.

2. An Invitational T-shirt tent will be set up next to the Concession tent.

 

Awards

1. Ribbons for both Varsity and JV races can be picked up when Coaches return timing chips at the conclusion of the meet.

2. Varsity Team awards and medals will be awarded 30 minutes after the last race.

 

Course

1. Please review the course map. The majority of the course is grass.

2. All paths and turns are marked, roped and a white line painted. Runners must stay on the grass. Except for places where they cross the pavement.

3. All mile markers have a sign and are painted on the ground.

4. Timers will be at each mile mark.

5. The course is closed to all runners 15 minutes before the first race. All runners must then warm up off the course.

 

Youth race:

All individual runners and teams entered in the Youth race must register at the main tent before 10:00 am. All entries must have a race number and signed a wavier.

7:40-……………….Officials meeting at the conclusion of the Coaches meeting.

7:45…………………. Course is closed. Warm up off the course

7:50…………………..Varsity Girls report to the line

8:00…………………..Start of the Varsity Girls race.

8:30…………………..Varsity Boys report to the line

8:40…………………..Start of the Varsity Boys race.

9:00………………… .J.V Girls report to the line

9:10…………………..Start of the JV Girls race.

9:40…………………..JV Boys report to the line.

9:50…………………..Start of the JV Boys race.

10:30…………………..Youth 2 mile race

10:45……………… . Awards at the finish line area
