Team Awards Presentations
General Information
The Leto school campus is off limits to all track participants. Any athlete
caught on the
main campus will be trespassed and is subject to disqualification from the
meet.
Admission:
Gate Admission is $7 for spectators.
Each school will receive four wrist bands at the coaches meeting to move in
and out of the facility. Two per girls
team and two per boys team. Wrist bands will be given to paying spectators
to allow for re-entry.
Athletes must have their jersey on to enter the stadium.
The ONLY passes accepted at the gate are the FHSAA State Series passes.
Concessions will be available.
Parking:
General parking is $2.
Buses will drop off at the entrance to the stadium and park in the school’s
east lane of the bus ramp
located off of Manhattan Ave. DO NOT park in the west lane, lane closest to
the school building. Team
parking is located in the student parking lot off of Manhattan Ave. All
spectators parking will be in the
west field behind the football field and on the Driver’s Ed range accessible
off of Sligh Ave. Spectators
will be permitted to park in the student lot after 12pm. Spectators that
leave will have to repay $2 to
park upon return.
Jury of Appeals:
The head coach must 1st
conduct the meet referee to discuss all potential appeals. If the coach
believes that the terms and conditions of competition or the application of
the rules have been
misapplied or interpreted after talking with the referee, a written appeal
shall be made to the jury.
The referee will have the appeal form.
3AR3: TBA at coaches meeting.
4AR2: TBA at coaches meeting.
Situations not subject to appeal include: Any judgment decision pertaining
to violation or
alleged violation of the rules. A decision made by the timers that does not
involve misapplication of a
rule or the terms and conditions of competition. Whether a start is fair
and/or legal.
Excused Competitors: A ten minute limit has been established for excused
field event competitors
to compete in another event.
Scratched Competitors: A contestant who is entered in an event in a state
series meet on any
level and is later scratched from that event will be disqualified from
participating in all remaining
events in the meet as well as the remainder of the state series. (Excludes
relays unless it is the entire
relay team.)
Warm-Up and Tents:
Team warm-up areas will be located in the field east of the baseball field.
Team camps will be set up
on the tennis courts. These areas are indicated on the map. Please DO NOT
place tents in the stands.
Athletic Trainers: Will be available at 9:00am on the football field.
Relay Cards: Will be filled out by teams as they check in at the clerks
table for finals only
No coaches on the infield unless you are assisting with an event.
No athletes on the infield unless they are competing in a field event.
Coaches will need to bring your own ice. Ice will be provided for injuries
only.
The only entrance to the track will be through the clerks table. All
athletes will exit the track
immediately after their race through the gate at the end of the finish line.
Athletes must check in to receive instructions and their hip number at least
15 minutes prior to their
event.
Advise your athletes about jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rubber bands etc),
electronic devices,
uniform rules and proper sportsmanship. Rules will apply without exception.

Weigh-Ins:
All weigh-ins will be done at the field house located on the home side
between 8:00am – 9:30am. Have
your vaulters, shots and discs checked in between these times. Implements
and vaulters that are not
weighed in will not be accepted at the event.
Spikes: ¼ inch or smaller needle
Awards:
Ribbons will be given to athletes that place 1-8.
Officials and Timing:
All timing will be done by Elite Timing. They will be on site at the coaches
meeting for any questions.
