North Port High would like to invite you to participate in the 15th Annual North Port High School XC Invitational to be held on September 20-21, 2019. In order to accommodate the high number of teams, and to alleviate the tight start and high number of teams, we are Spreading out the meet over the course of 2 days. With a Friday night race, and the regular Saturday races. Friday night will consist of Varsity Division, JV division Silver) and Middle school Division. And Saturday will be separated into 3 varsity divisions (Elite, Large School, Small School) and JV division (Blue)Note, it is only one Varsity Race per School. An extra entry fee can be charged for a Varsity B squad. The JV again will be combined of all the schools regardless of school size. Once again, to reward the JV runners we will provide water bottles for the JV runners at the finish line.
Year in and year out we like to provide a fun and competitive Meet before the start of the Major Season Meets. A chance for the kids to have a top race without the big race pressure.
The course is hard grass, and gravel and there is also 787 total meters on asphalt. The course is very flat and well marked. And we look for some very fast times.
DUE to Space restrictions we will be limited our Saturday event to 70 teams
